When your child plays soccer at the YMCA, they learn more than just skills on the field. They will learn about teamwork and sportsmanship, and have fun!
Games
1 game per week on Saturday mornings

Little Kickers Soccer
Registration Open: July 1st – 31st
YMCA Little Kickers is a 6-week program designed to introduce young children to the game of soccer in a fun, age appropriate way. Our aim is to help children develop a passion for the sport and have a great time while making new friends and participating in fun and engaging soccer rotations.

Youth Soccer League

YMCA Youth Soccer is a fun and exciting recreational league designed for kids to build soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence in a positive environment. Open to players of all skill levels, our coed league guarantees playing time for every participant while emphasizing sportsmanship and fun. End-of-season tournament for ages U7 and up.

Middle School Soccer
Registration Open: July 15th – August 31st
Games and practices on Saturday afternoons. Middle School Soccer is a fun and exciting recreational league designed for kids to build soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence in a competitive environment. Open to players of all skill levels. Our coed league guarantees playing time for every participant.

Equipment
Jersey and matching socks will be provided by the Y for game matches.
All Practices at the Kennedy Center
Located at 3455 Ohio River Road, Huntington, WV 25702.
Parents Must Provide
Shinguards (required) and soccer ball. Ball size 3 for U8 and younger, ball size 4 for U9 through U11, and ball size 5 for U12 and up.
Cleats are optional — tennis shoes are fine, especially in the younger ages where planting the foot is uncommon.
Rules & Requests
Requests: We will do our best to work with you on getting your child a practice night when they are available.
Misc: Jewelry may not be worn during games or practice (including newly pierced ears). Shinguards MUST be worn. CASTS are NOT permitted. DOGS are not permitted.
